Printing for Business vs. Personal Use: A Graphix Guide

Graphix TeamPublished 2026-06-29Reviewed 2026-08-11

A business order and a personal order use the same Graphix Productions workflow. The useful distinction is the job itself: what will be printed, where it will be used, the finished size, the number of pieces, and the artwork available.

Start with the available product format

Choose only from products currently listed in the print product catalogue:

If a product is not shown in the catalogue, it is not currently available for online ordering.

Compare the decisions that affect the order

For business work, note the required quantity, application surface, viewing direction, and whether every piece must follow the same artwork. For personal work, confirm the final dimensions, the number of pieces, and where the finished print will be displayed.

In both cases, use the controls on the chosen product page as the source of truth. They show the sizes, cutting choices, side options, material choices, and other selections currently available for that product.

Check artwork before checkout

Each product page includes its own File Prep Guide. Check the accepted upload formats, minimum resolution, bleed, and any product-specific instructions before attaching artwork. The cart then keeps the selected product configuration, quantity, and artwork together for checkout.

Review the live estimate

Configure the product before comparing costs. The displayed estimate responds to the selected size, quantity, and available options. The cart and checkout also show the current delivery estimate and available fulfilment choices.
